Bach in the Subway Day

REI Seattle, 222 Yale Avenue N, Seattle, WA

Together with my trusted colleague, Kendra McLean, I will take part in the international project:  Bach in the Subway Day 2015.  Here is what the organizers say about the day:

On J.S. Bach's 330th birthday, musicians around the world will unite to perform Bach for free in subways and public spaces, throughout the day and night, to celebrate our art and to sow the seeds for future generations of classical music lovers.

As I imagine how this day might unfold, I can't stop smiling.  Bach can be heard everywhere in the city!  What an amazing day this is going to be!  I am so happy and excited to take part in an amazing global project, and I hope many of my international colleague will join in.  In addition, it is so much fun to be playing with Kendra again.  We will enjoy choosing the repertoire, rehearsing, and performing.  It's been very long since we last played together!
